this week

So this week has been pretty cool. san diego/the sounds. disneyland. la/tegan and sara. tomorrow: Girl in a coma. Tomorrow will bring a close to my awesome week D: No wait i lied. there's still halloween on saturday. will do a big pic spam probably sunday. until then...ttfn.

so i lied not going to go see girl in a coma :( ;( apparently i have to work. and i couldnt get anyone to cover me. had it covered but then they backed out at the last minute. as usual :(

i thought about leaving it white cause it didn't look half bad minus a few fuck ups here and there but decided i'd probably do another one and just leave it white then. curiosity got the best of me for what it would like in red.

omg i'm having an eargasm!!!! tegan and sara's new record Sainthood is up on their myspace and i'm in love. but i need to stop listening to it and wait for the hard copy. 7 days and counting.

black friday

so who's ready for black friday?!? i know i'm way early. I went for the first time last year it was pretty fun. well thats a lie i went once with my mom to circuit city to get vcr's and i remember running through the store and everyone looked crazed. that was my first time. but this was my first official black friday as i bought things. i didn't really have a plan, so i was pretty much jsut walking around seeing things i liked and that things other people liked and just grabbed. i went with ian, anita, and my little brother and his girl friend at the time. ian anita and i all had one cart and we filled it up. ian had a big box, but we filled in the holes in the cart :P it was a good fun first experience and i can't wait until black friday this year! but i'm thinking i'll have more of a plan this time, actually have things i'm looking for rather than just browsing. i need to make a list and check it twice. oh the holidays how i love thee.

busy busy busy

so i know i keep talking about san diego but i'm excited!!! and then 2 days later its disneyland time!!! and then sainthood!!! word on the street is there's going to be a release show in LA for it. which will be awesome since i missed the last one.............!Y*&@!(#(@. anyway, moving on, and then after that it's almost halloween!!! maybe i should do a stencil for a pumpkin....i get paid the 27 so i can buy one, hopefully they'll still have a few good pumpkins left. I'm thinking for halloween itself, me and my dudes (i couldn't think of a word) will be making dinner, and watching scary movies, maybe pass out some candy. we shall see. eta, i forgot about girl in a coma!! on the 28th!! god i'm poor.

tegan and sara stencils

So I started working on some Tegan and Sara stencils, the first one was Sara of course :P and it was mostly a test run to see how i do with layers. It looks pretty cool from a distance but i so didnt need to use that big of a canvas lol.

the lighting from the photo was shit but its darker in person, and i fucked up on her lip :/ but like i said just a test run.

obviously the left is the stencil, layer 1, but the right is hopefully what it'll look like when i'm finished. The top of her head is a little crooked but thats ok i'll go back and touch up when i'm done.

Oh Em FUCKING GEE!!! So Ian and I went to go see Paranormal Activity this afternoon. Terrifying fyi. Then when we got back to the car, my car wouldn't start. Like at all, not even turn over. Just made an electrical noise and one tick and that was it. So my mom came and picked us up, said dad would come and look at it after he got off work. So 8:30 comes and he's home, we head back to the mall. And I say in the car "if the car starts it's paranormal activity" and I'll be damned if the fucking car didn't start!!!!!!! The evil mojo followed me back to the car!! And the cab light was on, and it wasn't when we left, Ian and I both looked at it and we both know it was off. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

30 minute lunch break

So it's Oct 13th. There's a storm coming in (stop it storm!)

Work is dead. I've almost run out of things to clean. Only a few more things that I can think of to clean.

Heading to san diego on the 23rd to see The Sounds with some friends. Should be fun. Been looking to get out of town for a little while. I may even have an alcoholic beverage :P yes yes its true, I've been 21 for 17 days and I haven't had a drop of alcohol. Crazy talk.

It's pretty cold out. Winters a comin, yet I heard its supposed to be 90 degrees on saturday :\ oh global warming, how you drive me crazy.
